  <title>Volunteer Opportunity! (3 / Need)</title>
  <link>http://www.the-project.ca/market/viewItem.php?id=168</link>
<description>Hello fellow Project people! I\'m the craft coordinator at an awesome camp for people with disabilities run by Rehoboth Christian Ministries. I\'m advertising this with the blessing of the Project staff. We\'re in desperate need of volunteers for next month, and I know some of you would be great at it! If you\'re interested in this opportunity to serve God and your fellow man or want some more information, please email me at rescuecheetah@gmail.com, phone me at 780-977-4211, or add me on facebook. God bless! :)

Commitment: one week
Training: provided
Fun: unlimited
Cost: free
Benefits: eternal!

Camp Rehoboth provides a one-week camp experience for people with disabilities. As well as a lot of fun activities, part of this experience is teaching them from the Bible and sharing the love of Jesus with them. It is a life-changing and faith-building week for our volunteers as well. Our camper spots are almost filled, but we still have 40+ counsellor openings to fill before July. Please prayerfully consider joining us for one of the following weeks:
R and R week: June 27-July 1
Adult Week 1: July 2-8
Adult Week 2: July 9-15
Independent Week: July 16-22

R and R week is a shorter, more relaxed week for senior and low-mobility campers. Adult refers to the age of the camper, not the volunteer. Independent week is for high-functioning adults and has different activities from the adult weeks.
For a first-time applicant Q and A, check out our website at www.rehoboth.ab.ca. No experience is necessary and full training and support is provided. If you are 14 or older we would love to have you join us for this unique opportunity! Application information is available online or by contacting Linda Rosendal (she\'s the director) at Rehoboth at 780-968-8483.</description>
