World

As people are owning the concept of ‘alleviating suffering in the world around us’ we see young adults going to places across the globe to live out their desire to do this. This page illustrates who they are, what they are doing and acts as a reminder for us to keep them in prayer!

Will you be next?

June 11, 2010-June 2011
I will be leaving to go serve in a restricted access nation, to show Christ’s love in whatever way I can or the circumstances will allow. My goal is to be that person that believes that there is something way bigger out there, and to help students dream bigger than they thought was even possible. I do not know where exactly I will be teaching or what exactly I will be doing but I know this, that I am called here to do what ever is put in front of me.  Please pray that I will find work teaching or whatever else may come up, that I can just embody love and pour that out where ever I can, and for a covering of safety so not only will I be “invisible” to the authorities but also that I never back down from what I came to do, to share a gift that changed my life and will change the world if we just keep loving the way Christ did.

Jan 5 – April 17
Granby, Quebec, Canada
I will be working alongside Rev. Brent in visitation, radio broadcasting, preaching, Bible studies, working alongside the board and the area pastors to see how God is moving through Quebec and how to reach the population of Quebec, outreach through youth and children’s ministry and lastly a breakfast feeding program at an elementary school there. Although overseas is important, less than one percentage of Quebec’s population are Evangelical professing Christians and I now have an opportunity to reach out to these people.

We will be working at “Home of the Good Shepherd,” a Christian Orphanage which is equipping young lives to succeed, not just to survive. The Home provides food, clothing, shelter, education, and exercise as well as meeting the children’s emotional needs. Plus, the Home introduces all children to the Gospel of our Lord’s love and saving grace, to meet the children’s spiritual needs and cravings. You can find more information at: www.hgsbrazil.org Brad and I would greatly appreciate your prayers for safety while traveling and that the Holy Spirit travels with us.
